In Today’s episode of “Healing From Within”, Host Sheryl Glick, Reiki Master Teacher, and author of “Life Is No Coincidence” welcomes Coach Betty Louise Host of internet radio show, “Living an Organic and Orgasmic Life” whose main theme focuses on natural healing and a return to inner wisdom and truth. Betty has interviewed many progressive experts such as John Gray author of “Mars-Venus”, understanding the male and female persona, brain researcher, Jill Bolte Taylor and Dr. Bernie Siegel author of “Love Medicine and Miracles.” Betty received her credentials at The Coaches Training Institute and the Academy of Intuition Medicine. She is a master trainer for the Stanford Chronic Disease Self Management Program and co-author of the book “Understanding Fibromyalgia.”

In today’s episode, Betty and Sheryl will be discussing themes of sexual wellness as a path to freedom and the means to create dynamic, beautiful and healthy women who are necessary for the health of our modern day families and our planet.

Betty, who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for twenty six years and spent fifteen years relying on pharmaceutical medications which had many unpleasant side effects, finally led her to seek out other therapies to work towards healing the symptoms. By incorporating dance, music, sexual experiences and hot water therapy as therapeutical pleasure medicine, she was led to understand more about her own feminine physical life and to understand the problems many women are exhibiting since as many as eighty percent of women do not have a positive body image of themselves and over ten million women have eating disorders. These statistics are representative of a disconnection from inner beauty and sexuality and are having a major impact on our planet.

The question we should be asking ourselves as women is “What is sensuality and sexuality?” Many women perceive sensuality and sexuality to be based on the way they present themselves physically. But, Betty, in describing sensuality as very simply being “fully present in the moment utlizing your five senses”, takes our understanding of what really creates beauty and well being, which must come from within our soul presence, and then be reflected on how the world sees us.

In a quote from Dr. Elisabeth Kubler Ross, who said “The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths. These people have an appreciation, sensitivity and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen!!!”

By discussing the different values and needs of men and women, we begin to understand why over sixty percent of marriages are ending in divorce. We must understand the differences so all men and women can find the beauty in their own exploration of love, commitment, and authentic intimate relationships, which are relationships that honor and respect a souls need to develop and evolve in a way that is unique to them. This type of relationship does not allow for lower vibrational expressions of control, anger, greed, lust, jealousy by either party.

Ultimately it is only when men and women love themselves and become the example of love, that they may draw to themselves love and success, happiness and health, as what they give out to the world sets up an enviroment and a vibration which can draw that same energy to them. This energy of love and compassion may be seen not only in the male/female relationship, but in other ways that express the qaulity of fine interactions with life and people.

In conclusion, it may be known that by the conquering of the fears of the ego, and our physical life, sexual experiences should be seen as a means to spiritual and universal healing and as such require a higher vision of commitment and caring from both male and female.
